Processor means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller;

 

Recipient means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or other body, to which the personal data are disclosed, whether a third party or not. However, public authorities which may receive personal data in the framework of a particular inquiry in accordance with Union or Member State law shall not be regarded as recipients; the processing of such data by those public authorities shall be in compliance with the applicable data protection rules according to the purposes of such processing;

 

Third party means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency, or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data;

 

Consent of the data subject means any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject’s wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her;

The purpose of processing the information you provide is to respond to your requests, to adapt our offers to your choice of Services. This information is therefore mandatory. Otherwise, we will not be able to process your request.

5. Recipients of your personal data

 

We never share your personal data with other companies for marketing purposes.

 

Your personal data is processed only by the authorized services within Maiada EL KHALIFA.

 

We work closely with service providers who may have access to your personal data. These are the processors we use for the purposes mentioned above.

 

We only provide them with the data they need to carry out their services or assignments, and they will only act in accordance with our instructions and will be contractually bound to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data as which apply to us and to comply with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data.

 

Personal data may be disclosed to Third Parties pursuant to a law, regulation, or decision of a competent regulatory or judicial authority.

6. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

The data collected and processed in this context are hosted and stored within the European Union.

We may use partners or service providers located outside the European Economic Area, who may have access to personal data. We ensure beforehand that an adequate level of data protection is provided, such as on the basis of an adequacy agreement or consent from the European Commission. Otherwise, we contract with our service providers in accordance with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep your personal data

 

We retain personal data only for the time necessary for the purposes for which they were collected and in compliance with applicable regulations.

 

The personal data necessary to access our Services are kept for the duration of the contractual relationship, plus a period corresponding to applicable legal requirements, and taking into account any interruptions or suspensions of statute of limitation periods.

 

Invoices are kept for 10 years from the end of the financial year.

 

The personal data of prospective customers are kept for a period of 3 years as from the last contact with us.

 

Personal data concerning the management of the exercise of rights are kept for a period of 5 years as from the end of the procedure related to your request.

 

Notwithstanding the foregoing paragraphs, in the event of a claim or dispute, all or some of your data may be kept for a longer period if such data proves useful for the defense of our rights.

 

At the end of the periods listed above, your personal data will be deleted or rendered anonymous.

8. Your rights to your personal data

Subject to the terms and conditions set forth in articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, with some exceptions, you have various rights with respect to our use of your personal data:

        Right to object: in certain circumstances, relating to your particular situation when the exercise of this right is based on legitimate interest (Article 21.1 of the GDPR) and a right to object to direct marketing (Article 21.2 of the GDPR).

        Right of withdraw your consent if the processing is based on consent, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
